French Civil Registry (Alleged ANTS) 12M Records Leak
In September 2025, a massive dataset attributed to France's national secure identity document agency France Titres (formerly ANTS - Agence Nationale des Titres Sécurisés) surfaced on BreachForums.
Exposed Data Types
6- Names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Dates of birth
- Physical addresses
- Genders
About This Record
The compromised repository contains 12,091,915 citizen records and 3,287,781 unique email addresses formatted as a civil status registry (etat_civil.csv). Exposed fields comprise citizen legal names, exact dates and cities of birth, genders, residential postal addresses, landline and mobile telephone numbers, and email accounts.
Although ANTS issued an official advisory stating that their primary administrative infrastructure had not suffered an intrusion, suggesting the dataset represents aggregated records compiled from downstream services, local registries, or commercial brokers, the exposure of validated identity details for millions of French citizens creates severe exposure to smishing, administrative spoofing, and synthetic identity fraud.
Verification and editorial method
LeakData compares the incident name, date, affected-record count, and exposed data types with accessible sources. Unverified fields are not presented as facts, and records are updated when new evidence becomes available.
