About This Breach
A public breach source says the IDC Games-attributed collection contained 3,966,871 unique email addresses and listed email addresses, usernames, and salted MD5 password hashes at collection level. This is not a raw-row, person, or confirmed active-account count. The class list also does not establish that a username and hash accompanied every email, or that any password was cracked, current, or reused.
The local searchable subset contains 3,954,058 email documents created across four import jobs; password hashes, usernames, and other fields were not imported into local search. A result can establish only that the queried email occurs in this local email subset attributed to IDC Games. It cannot establish account or profile ownership, gaming membership, username or password presence, field co-occurrence, misuse, or password reuse. A negative result covers only the locally searchable subset.
