About This Record

The exposed MariaDB dump of the authme plugin table contains approximately 1,647,303 player account records. Compromised information fields include player in-game handles (usernames), salted SHA-256 AuthMe password hashes, connection IP addresses, Unix last login timestamps, associated email addresses (where provided), and server cluster node identifiers.

Given the high frequency of password reuse within gaming communities, offline cracking of these hashes poses substantial risks for automated credential-stuffing attacks against player email, Discord, Steam, and other gaming accounts.

Players who registered on MasedWorld are strongly encouraged to update passwords across any online services where the same credentials may have been reused and configure multi-factor authentication where available.

Verification and editorial method
