About This Breach
Following a forensic review concluded on August 18, 2026 and regulatory notifications issued in fall 2026, the company confirmed that protected health information for approximately 970,000 California Medi-Cal members was affected.
The exposed files contained names, dates of birth, gender details, and Medi-Cal member identification numbers. Paradigm stated that Social Security numbers, detailed clinical medical records, and its separate Student Health Network (SHN) platform were not impacted.
